Poverty and health are connected. Health challenges are continually rising in poverty stricken countries to rates far beyond what we can imagine and what is acceptable. This is due to lack of treatment in these areas and inability to afford basic healthcare. In fact, each year over 2 million children die from an array of different diseases, including pneumonia and diarrhea, which in modern civilized nations are easily treatable. At the Everest Foundation, we want to do our part to change the nature of healthcare for poor populations. We offer opportunities for research, health optimization, and support to these countries through various global initiatives. We aim to be Part of the Cure.
